Technical Program
The Congress Technical Program Committee is co-chaired by representatives of the IDRA Board of Directors and the Saudi Water Authority (SWA), and is assembling a diverse international committee representing a wide range of global expertise. The IDRA World Congress 2026 Technical Program has been developed through an open call for abstracts, which are rigorously reviewed and ranked by the Technical Program Committee, which oversees the full submission, review, and selection process to ensure the highest quality of presentations.
Over four transformative days, participants will engage in ten essential technical topics delivered through sessions organized into four parallel tracks, covering fifty-eight subtopics. The program offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the latest innovations and solutions in water desalination and reuse, addressing the global challenge of water scarcity.
The IDRA World Congress 2026 will present a comprehensive technical program designed to highlight the most pressing issues, cutting-edge innovations, and practical solutions shaping the future of water. Building on IDRA’s tradition of excellence, the program is structured around six thematic areas that together provide a holistic view of global progress in desalination, water reuse, energy integration, digital transformation, and regulatory advancement.
Each topic area invites case studies, research findings, and applied insights that advance knowledge, demonstrate real-world impact, and inspire scalable solutions.
