NanoH2O is now a product brand rather than a standalone company. Founded in Los Angeles as a developer of thin film nanocomposite (TFN) reverse osmosis membranes, it was acquired by LG Chem in April 2014 and folded into the LG Water Solutions business unit in 2015. NanoH2O branded seawater and brackish water RO membranes are manufactured at LG Chem facility in Cheongju, South Korea, alongside ultrafiltration and MBR membranes and ion exchange resins.
