Christian Abelsson's career in subsea technology spans over 16 years and includes a master’s degree in aerospace engineering with a focus on aerothermodynamics. He has successfully managed subsea pump qualification projects where he has implemented innovative strategies to ensure robust and reliable subsea equipment that will operate in harsh conditions for many years without maintenance. Christian's expertise also extends to designing and architecting subsea processing systems, including pioneering subsea desalination technologies. As VP of Technology & Products at Flocean, Christian is responsible for overseeing the company's technology and product strategy, leading product development and managing day-to-day operations. His passion for subsea desalination has led him to share his valuable insights at industry conferences.
