Biography

Milbis Ali Hussain Alqouzi is a Specialist Instrument and Control Engineer at the Saudi Water Authority (SWA), based at the Shoaiba Desalination Plant Phase 2 — one of the Kingdom's largest and most strategically significant reverse osmosis desalination facilities. With extensive hands-on experience in the design, operation, and optimisation of large-scale water treatment and desalination systems, he specialises in the integration of advanced instrumentation, industrial control systems (ICS), and operational technology (OT) within critical water infrastructure. His professional focus encompasses IT/OT cybersecurity, AI-driven predictive maintenance, digital transformation of water operations, and the convergence of water, energy, and telecommunications infrastructure.
