Mr. Eli Oklejas

Biography

Eli Oklejas is the Founder, CEO, and CTO of Fluid Equipment Development Company (FEDCO).

With over four decades of experience in hydraulic design and pump technology, Eli has advanced energy-efficient solutions for desalination and water purification. In the early 1980s, as Chief R&D Hydraulic Designer at a major pump company, he proposed developing a turbocharger device to boost feed pressure using brine hydraulic energy, laying the foundation for his future innovations. In 1997, Eli founded FEDCO to develop innovative high-pressure pumps and energy recovery devices.

Under his leadership, FEDCO introduced the Hydraulic Pressure Booster (HPB), the MSS and MSD series of high-pressure feed pumps, the BiTurbo™ high recovery SWRO systems, improved centralized pumping and the HEMI motorized turbocharger, setting new industry benchmarks for efficiency and reliability.
