Biography
I am a Tech Entrepreneur, Researcher, and Educator passionate about transforming fundamental science into real-world solutions. As Founder & CEO of Soret Technologies, I lead the development of advanced thermodiffusion and thermal transport systems that enable innovation across energy, environmental, and industrial sectors.
Alongside my entrepreneurial work, I am Associate Professor and leader of the ANU HEAT Lab at The Australian National University (ANU), where we explore groundbreaking technologies based on heat and mass transfer principles. Our research spans energy systems, aerospace applications, and environmental engineering, with publications in top-tier journals such as Nature Water, Nature Communications and Energy & Environmental Science.
My career journey includes earning dual PhDs from Tohoku University (Japan) and École Centrale de Lyon (France), followed by industry experience as a Research Scientist at Toshiba Corporation. I joined ANU in 2016.
