Biography
Dr. Abdallatif Abdalrhman is a Water Expert at the Saudi Water Authority (SWA). With more than 14 years of experience, he has previously worked in four different continents (Africa, Asia, North America, and Europe). Dr. Abdallatif received his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta in Canada before joining the University of Toronto as a Provost’s Research Fellow in 2019, where he worked in the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering. His expertise covers the areas of water and wastewater treatment, electrochemistry, photochemistry, and water quality management. Before joining the Saudi Water Authority (SWA) in 2023, he was a Water process specialist at Black & Veatch Canada. Throughout his career, Dr. Abdallatif has received more than 14 different scholarships and awards in recognition of his accomplishments. His current work at WTIIRA-SWA covers the areas of Brine valorization, Advanced water treatment technologies, and Water quality enhancement.
