Ahmed Bdour, Ph.D., serves as a Full Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at The Hashemite University, Jordan. A graduate of Washington State University (Ph.D., 2004) and an ASCE Associate Member, he has built a distinguished career at the nexus of water, energy, and environmental sustainability. His expertise spans water and wastewater treatment, environmental modeling, brackish water desalination, and renewable energy integration, with a focus on developing practical, sustainable solutions for water-scarce regions. Dr. Bdour actively translates research into impact, leading externally funded projects in collaboration with industry and government partners to tackle real-world water quality and resource management challenges.
