Biography
Dr. Binash is a Research Engineer in the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Sustainable Energy and Systems (IRC-SES), at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. His research interests span energy efficiency, thermal desalination, oxy-fuel combustion, carbon capture, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and process simulation. He has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications in leading scientific outlets and holds several patents in sustainable energy and water desalination technologies. At IRC-SES, Dr. Binash has been actively engaged for several years in industrial and building energy assessments, as well as in mentoring and instructing students in energy efficiency and renewable energy. He has also developed short courses and outreach programs to raise awareness of sustainable energy practices. In addition, he is affiliated with the Aerospace Engineering Department at KFUPM, where he teaches courses and supervises graduate student theses in the areas of propulsion and energy systems.
