Dr. Hasan Al Abdulgader

Biography

Dr. Hasan Al Abdulgader is a register PE and a water treatment specialist with 15 years of industrial and research experience. He is passionate about sustainability and water security in Saudi Arabia and across the region. He is currently the director of the Produced Water Treatment R&D program in Saudi Aramco, where he has been leading various desalination technology development projects. He has also been providing technical support and troubleshooting of various water desalination plants in Aramco facilities. Dr. Al Abdulgader has more than 20 patents and published several journal papers and book chapters. Dr. Al Abdulgader is an adjunct professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Dr. Abdulgader earned his BEng degree in chemical engineering from the University of Nottingham (UK), a Master from the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and a PhD in Water Process Engineering from Swansea University (UK).
