Biography
Henk obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1992 at the University of Twente, The Netherlands on the topic of Pervaporation.
From 1992 - 1994 he worked at the National Institute of Materials and Chemical Research in Tsukuba, Japan on projects in the field of Pervaporation and Reverse Osmosis for organic solvent systems in collaboration with the University of Tokyo.
In 1994 Henk returned to the Netherlands were he set-up and managed the European Membrane Institute Twente.
In 2005 Henk joined Zenon Environmental in Oakville, Canada as Director R&D.
In 2009 he became Technology Leader UF/MBR at GE Water.
In 2017 he became the Global Technology Leader for ES Products at Suez.
In 2022 Henk joined NX Filtration as their Technical Director responsible for product development and manufacturing support.
As of January 2026 his role changed to Technical Sales Director supporting the commercial team.
