Dr. Pramod Patil

Biography

He has 19 years of extensive experience in research and development, sustainability-driven innovation, technology development, and deployment. He held a position as the technical leader in Dow Chemicals and Aramco. Currently, he holds a position as the senior technical director of decarbonization and chemistry at NESR, focusing on enabling technologies for decarbonization and energy transition. He has led numerous high-impact projects in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), hydrogen production and storage, produced water management, mineral recovery, oilfield chemicals, and the development of SaaS-based software solutions. His achievements include overseeing more than 20 global field implementations, launching 22 products, publishing over 70 journal and conference papers, and filing 30 patent applications with the USPTO. Academically, he holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and a master’s in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
