Biography
Dr. Samar is a dedicated researcher who has been actively working over the past 9 years on designing resources and water recovery from atmosphere and water purification systems. Her work spans laboratory synthesis, pilot-scale validation, techno-economic analysis (TEA), and life-cycle cost assessment (LCCA). She has developed and implemented machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) for different applications and fields. Her work bridges material innovation, process optimization, and machine learning-guided decision-making to tackle critical water scarcity and resource recovery challenges.
She led experimental and modeling work on water generation systems, including real-condition deployment and performance benchmarking under pilot-scale settings across the UAE.
