Biography
Dr. Adham is manager of ConocoPhillips’s Global Water Sustainability Center (GWSC). The GWSC mission is to develop innovative solutions for water management and includes examining ways to treat produced & process water from petroleum operations. He participated as principal investigator on several research projects and provided recommendations for operational excellence at QatarEnergy LNG. He also serves as Adjunct Professor in Center for Advanced Materials at Qatar University participating in research activities on development of novel nanostructured materials. He was vice president of MWH’s (presently Stantec) Applied Research Department carried leading-edge research programs focused on environmental challenges of municipal & industrial stakeholders related to water treatment and desalination. He received several international awards of excellence and participated in conferences worldwide as a global expert on advanced water treatment technologies. He authored >150 journal publications (h-index 51 with 9,600 citations via google scholar), 400 conference papers, 6 patents, and 200 invited presentations.
