Session 4: how emerging economies are moving beyond traditional regulatory models
An in depth dialogue led by the World Bank, bringing together five countries from different regions that have successfully developed innovative regulatory and legislative frameworks beyond traditional models through digitalization and flexible institutional models suited to their national contexts. These include distinguished models in water management (Singapore), water scarcity regulation and water markets (Australia), and emerging reform models that have overcome challenges related to fragmentation and transparency (the Philippines, Kenya, and Uzbekistan).
